Paws skid across the sand grabbing desperately for traction. Finding no such thing in the sad pit the she-cat soon found herself with a face, and mouth, full of sand. "Grrr... no stars blast it!" the she-cat cried angrily shaking her head as she stood up from the ground. She spat the sand out of her mouth disgustedly. "Ew, sand. yuckity yuck," She muttered as she ploped down on the ground. Her tail behind her trashed as she remembered what had caused her to get sand in her mouth anyway. "Stupid mouse, stupid luck," the poor unlucky she-cat called Shade muttered," Can't even catch a mouse anymore. Lordy lordy I've really got some bad luck." SHe shook her head again with a sigh. "I really need to find a way around my lucklessness," She said to herself after a moment of just staring into space at the clouds," Looks like it's gonna rain again tonight. "
